Christopher LaGuardia, RLA, ASLA | Principal/Project Manager

Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture -

University of Georgia

Christopher LaGuardia, a former resident of Central New York, now resides in Sag Harbor. LaGuardia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. Shortly after leaving Georgia, Chris began working for M. Paul Friedberg & Partners Urban Design, an internationally renowned landscape architecture firm in New York City.

Although he gained valuable experience working with M. Paul Friedberg, LaGuardia soon sought out new challenges and settled in Bridgehampton, NY. Here he worked for Norman Jaffe, FAIA; a renowned architect known for his modern and environmentally compatible residences. After working under Jaffe for ten years, LaGuardia decided he was ready to establish his own practice in 1992.

Since then, Christopher has spearheaded more than 100 large-scale projects, ranging from 30-acre estates to international hotels and public parks. Now, with wide spread notoriety and a number of accolades in hand, he continues to practice; ever mindful of his philosophy that the primary objective for every project is to formulate an original equation that establishes a harmonious resolution of a variety of design elements. The visual recognition of an intended theme, unique to each undertaking, is one of LaGuardia's chief priorities. As a result, his designs have been featured in several publications and received numerous awards
