after leaving Georgia, LaGuardia began working for M. Paul Friedberg & Partners
Urban Design, an internationally renowned landscape architecture firm
in New York City.
Shortly after, LaGuardia settled in Bridgehampton to work for Norman
Jaffe, FAIA, a well-known architect know for his modern and environmental
compatible residences. After working for Jaffe a few years, LaGuardia
decided that with the knowledge he has attained from his previous employment
experiences, he was now ready to establish his own practice in 1992.
Since then Christopher LaGuardia, Landscape Architect, P.C. has spearheaded
more than 30 large-scale projects, ranging anywhere from small garden
designs to 30-acre estates and public park spaces. Now, with LaGuardia's
success, he continues to practice with his philosophy being that the
primary objective for every project is to formulate an original equation
that establishes a certain resolution of multiple design elements. The
visual recognition of an apparent theme, which is unique to each undertaking
is one of LaGuardia's chief priorities that has landed him numerous accolades
in his career.
